As an ecumenical partnership Bowthorpe Church offers two types of services to parents to give thanks for the safe delivery of their son and or daughter.
- Thanksgiving service.
This is a special church service, different from a christening, can be used as a way to say thank you to God for your child.
- Infant Baptism (Christenings).
In this service your child will baptised with water. The parents and your child’s God parents make solemn promises about the raising of the child.

Other forms of Baptism
Additionally to reflect the Baptist tradition we also offer believers or adult baptism by whole body immersion for those requesting it.
